Datamax came to NMG requiring that DMC to be fully integrated with their existing Pivotal CRM platform.


Situation:

Datamax is a single-source provider of end-to-end digital imaging and information technology solutions. It is the mission of Datamax to serve its customers as a technology advocate. Datamax provides the expertise, commitment, and resources necessary to implement the most cost-effective and secure solution for any business model.

For a company as customer-committed as Datamax, it is crucial to constantly stay in touch with clients. The business required a system that would support customer communications, integrate with the current Pivotal CRM platform, standardize marketing communications, and maintain brand control. The experts at Datamax turned the challenge over to New Media Gateway.

Solution:
  • NMG integrated the Email Marketing Center with the Pivotal platform, so that Datamax users now can send email inside their CRM via the MailCenter.
  • A users' ability to customize content is limited only by the assigned level of permission. NMG created Brand Managed HTML Templates to limit a user's options to a few select fields.
  • Administrators can then adjust a user's level of customization depending on the need.

Impact:
  • Datamax implemented the solution from NMG with a net gain in operational efficiency.
  • Not having to transfer over to a new CRM, or move back and forth between the CRM and the email application, saves the Datamax team precious time.
  • Using custom-built Brand Managed Templates empowers the staff to maintain close communications with clients, without worry of brand diffusion.
