Early in his career, he was lured away from other suitors such as Anderson Consulting by Texas Instruments where he immediately parlayed his years of Japanese language and cultural training and tenures at such firms at Exxon Ltd Hong Kong into financial/contract wins with such clients as Toshiba, Fujitsu, NEC and countless others.
Mr. Potter was soon tapped to become the controller for TI's rapidly growing Gallium Arsenide Products Division where his team managed global contracts for such clients as Nortel, Alcatel, Eriksson, Nokia, Hughes Space and Telecom, and the US Department of Defense.
While at Texas Instruments, Mr. Potter began attending SMU's Executive MBA program. He continued his graduate studies even as he was lured away by Wyeth Laboratories to become financial manager for the 10-state Southeastern Region. During his tenure, Mr. Potter's Southeastern Region claimed #1 ranking for 7 major product rollouts.
Mr. Potter joined New Media Gateway from Wyeth Laboratories a few short months after the company secured its initial round of VC funding.
As Executive Vice President, he oversees all operations for the company, including development, manufacturing and production as well as managing strategic relationships and financial reporting
